Vaccination has revolutionised control of infectious disease in our pets. Vaccinations help protect them against a number of dieases that can be picked up from other dogs and the surrounding environment.
Puppys can recieve a temporary vaccination from 6 weeks and every 3-4 weeks following this until after 10 weeks old. Generally it is adviseable to vaccinate with C3 (Which covers Parvovirus, Distemper and Hepatitis) C2i (Covering Leptospirosis and Coronavirus) and Kennel Cough vaccine (Required prior to boarding kennels and most puppy classes)
Adult dogs require regular vaccination to maintain immunity against diseases. At this time we examine older dogs and assess for any health problems that may have developed over teh previous year. This examinaiton helps to detect early onset heart disease and many other health conditions.
Please give us a call to discuss a suitable vaccination regime for your pet puppy or dog. We can also microchip your pet to help you be re-united if they get lost.
